The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences (UGAS), Iwate University, is pleased to announce the international symposium “Innovations in Plant and Food Sciences (IPFS-2025)”. The symposium aims to strengthen partnerships with our consortium universities and to promote collaborative research and student exchange among participating institutions. The theme this year is “Plant and Food Sciences for a Sustainable Future – From Bench to Field.”

Participating Universities (planned):Iwate University (Japan), University of Saskatchewan (Canada), Dalhousie University (Canada), Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (China), Jilin Agricultural University (China), Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University (China), and the University of Dhaka (Bangladesh).

Undergraduate and master’s course students are also welcome to participate.

Ginga Hall (Fukkō Kinen Ginga Hall), Science & Engineering Campus, Iwate University, Morioka, Japan
